This includes developing a state MIH plan, ensuring data collection on program outcomes, and establishing criteria for MIH programs to ensure they provide coordinated care, meet quality standards, and have access to medical control and direction. Additionally, the bill creates a Mobile Integrated Health Advisory Board to assist the DPH in developing and implementing the MIH plan, composed of representatives from various healthcare organizations and stakeholders. Finally, it amends existing law to allow services approved under this new chapter (111O) to also be approved under Chapter 111C, which pertains to emergency medical services.
