This bill prohibits certain large vehicles, including trucks, buses, campers, trailers, semi-trailer units, mobile homes, and vehicles with more than 12 seats, from operating on the Neponset Valley Parkway in Milton, which is managed by the department of conservation and recreation (DCR) within the urban parks district. However, exceptions are made for school buses and pickup trucks or vans that weigh 5,000 pounds or less and are 7 feet 6 inches or less in height. Vehicles that are otherwise prohibited can still use the parkway to reach adjacent residential homes and healthcare facilities, but only with the DCR's explicit permission. Violating these rules will result in a fine between $100 and $500.
