Furthermore, if a customer requests multiple business lines or numbers, they must demonstrate a genuine need, ensuring each line is for a distinct party, that the party is legally authorized to use the name, that the use isn't confusing or misleading, and that the lines aren't solely used for automated advertisements. The Department of Telecommunications and Cable will create regulations to put these requirements into effect.
