This bill removes the requirement in current law for inspectors and agents of the Casino Control Commission to be present at all times during the operation of any casino or simulcasting facility to provide instead that they be present at times deemed appropriate by the commission. The purpose of this bill is to provide the commission with the flexibility needed in deploying its personnel with regard to its general responsibility in implementing the Casino Control Act. The presence of the inspectors and agents is for the purpose of certifying the revenue of the casino and simulcasting facility, receiving complaints from the public relating to the conduct of gaming and simulcast wagering operations, examining records of revenues and procedures, and conducting periodic reviews of operations and facilities for the purpose of evaluating current or suggested provisions of the Casino Control Act.
