This bill directs the Joint Committee on Housing of the Massachusetts Legislature to review and make recommendations regarding the implementation of a specific law from 2014, identified as Chapter 235 of the Acts of 2014, which pertains to local housing authorities. In conducting this review, the committee is authorized to consult with relevant state agencies and organizations, including the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development, the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (a professional organization for those involved in housing and community development), and the Massachusetts Union of Public Housing Tenants (an advocacy group for residents of public housing).
