This bill, concerning the Gardner District Court, amends Section 1 of Chapter 218 of the General Laws by removing references to the district court at Winchendon and its associated towns (Ashburnham, Phillipston, Royalston, and Templeton) from one part of the law, and then reinserting those towns, along with Gardner, Petersham, Hubbardston, and Westminster, into a different section that defines the jurisdiction of the Gardner court. In essence, the bill is reorganizing which towns fall under the purview of the Gardner District Court, moving some towns that were previously associated with the Winchendon court to be under the Gardner court's jurisdiction.
