This bill expands the current law to provide free hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, as well as free admission to State parks and forests, for several categories of military personnel and veterans. Specifically, the bill authorizes these benefits for: (1) members of the organized reserve of the U.S. Armed Forces located in New Jersey; (2) active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces who are residents of New Jersey or stationed in the state; (3) retired members of the New Jersey National Guard; and (4) disabled veterans. The bill also clarifies that these benefits apply to both resident and non-resident military personnel and veterans who meet the established criteria.
