AI Summary

This bill prohibits the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) from allowing free passage through toll gates or over the Atlantic City Expressway for any past or present SJTA employee, officer, or appointed member, except when the vehicle is being used to carry out an official duty for the authority or to commute to and from the employee's or officer's place of employment with the authority. Currently, SJTA employees are given toll-free passage on the Expressway for personal trips as well as for purposes relating to their employment with the authority. The bill aims to change this policy and require all SJTA employees, officers, and members to pay tolls when using the Expressway for non-work-related purposes.
