This bill adds the Vietnam Veterans of America to the list of organizations for which State, county and municipal employees will be given leave of absence to attend their State and national conventions. Current law annually provides a public employee who is a duly authorized representative of an enumerated organization with up to five days leave of absence with pay to attend conventions. The bill also removes two defunct organizations from the list of enumerated organizations.
