For several specific bargaining units, including those represented by the Federation of Physicians and Dentists and the Teamsters Local Union No. 2011, the bill dictates that certain articles within their collective bargaining agreements will either maintain the current language ("status quo") or be resolved according to proposals made by the state or the union on specific dates. For example, issues concerning "Vacant" positions or "Hours of Work and Overtime" are addressed with specific resolutions. Any other unresolved mandatory collective bargaining issues not covered by this bill or the state's main budget act for that year will be settled by following existing personnel rules in effect as of March 1, 2016, or by maintaining the current language of the relevant collective bargaining agreement.
