This bill establishes a special sick leave bank for Cecile Ferrie, an employee of the Department of Correction, allowing other employees of the department to voluntarily donate their sick, personal, or vacation days to this bank for her use. Before Cecile Ferrie can use any donated time, she must first use up all of her own accrued sick, vacation, personal, and compensation time. The sick leave bank days can only be used for absences related to the specific illness or disability that led to the bank's creation, as determined by the department. If Cecile Ferrie leaves her job or requests to close the bank, any unused time will be moved to the department's extended illness leave bank.
