This bill appropriates $125,000 from the general fund to the Workforce Solutions Department for the fiscal year 2018. The purpose of this funding is to expand performance excellence leadership training for New Mexico's workforce, as well as provide assessment services and assistance to New Mexico businesses and organizations to strengthen their effectiveness, efficiency, and competitiveness. This is intended to encourage economic development and job creation in the state. Any unused or uncommitted funds remaining at the end of the fiscal year will revert back to the general fund.
