This bill amends the Inspection of Public Records Act to provide exceptions to public inspection of applicants for public employment in the state of New Mexico. Specifically, it exempts records that would reveal the identity of an applicant for public employment, except that the name and resume of the finalist for the head of any agency, state institution, or political subdivision must be made available on the entity's website at least seven days prior to the final decision to hire. The bill also makes some other minor changes, such as updating terminology from "web sites" to "websites."
