AI Summary

This bill directs the Department of Agriculture to convey certain federal land in two phases to the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority in exchange for certain non-federal land. The federal land will become part of the Tongass National Forest, and the non-federal land acquired by the government will be protected from entry, mining, and mineral leasing. The bill sets out requirements for the land exchange, including conducting necessary land surveys and reviews, equalizing the land values, and reserving research easements on some of the federal land.
