This bill prohibits sellers from imposing a convenience fee on any sales transaction involving admission to an entertainment event, except as otherwise provided in sections 24-19.5-103(3) and 29-11.5-103(3) of the Colorado Revised Statutes. The bill takes effect 90 days after the final adjournment of the General Assembly, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case it will be subject to voter approval in the 2018 general election.
