This bill appropriates $3 million from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the city of Austin to design, construct, and equip improvements at the Ramsey Mill Pond site, including the construction of a regional trail connection, picnic and parking areas, a boat launch, fishing platform, and other public facilities and amenities, as well as for landscaping, shore stabilization, riparian planting, and establishment of native vegetation. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $3 million to provide the money appropriated. The bill takes effect the day following final enactment.
