This bill makes several changes to the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, including: - Specifying that applications for funding of certain agriculture education and promotion facilities must be postmarked or electronically submitted by October 1 of each year. - Revising the standards for applicant eligibility to take the licensure examination to practice as a surveyor or mapper, including expanding the acceptable degree programs and experience requirements. - Repealing provisions relating to maximum permit fees for taximeters. - Revising the requirements to obtain a license to carry a concealed weapon or firearm, including changes to the eligibility criteria and application process.
