This bill amends existing law to allow the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to expunge certain juvenile records related to driving offenses, such as drunk driving, from a person's driving record if they meet certain criteria, including being under the age of 21 at the time of the offense, having no prior or subsequent convictions for these types of offenses, and having paid all applicable fees. This change would prevent these juvenile records from being included in the person's driving record report for up to 10 years, with some exceptions for commercial driver's license holders and offenses that occurred in a commercial vehicle.
