This bill allows applicants for an examination permit, driver's license, commercial driver's license, non-driver identification card, or power vessel operator's license to submit a valid emergency medical technician or paramedic certification card issued by the Department of Health to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) for the purposes of the MVC's Six-Point Identification Verification Program, and these certification cards will count for two points for the purposes of identification verification. The bill also requires the Chief Administrator of the MVC to promulgate rules and regulations to implement the provisions of the bill, which will take effect immediately but remain inoperative until the first day of the fourth month following the date of enactment.
