This bill: Deletes the fee-for-service option as a basis for reimbursing Medicaid provider service networks, and requires rather than authorizes these networks to be prepaid plans. It revises the number of eligible Medicaid health care plans the state agency must procure for certain regions, and makes other changes to the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program, including requirements for the procurement of eligible plans, quality selection criteria, and payment methodologies for provider service networks.
