AI Summary

This bill allows high school students in grade 11 or 12 to test out of the remainder of high school and graduate early with a diploma of excellence if they receive a high score on the ACT, SAT, Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test, or another assessment approved by the state Department of Education. The students must also demonstrate appropriate maturity and competence, and have their parent's permission to test out early. This provides an opportunity for high-performing students to accelerate their education and move on to college, a career, or other post-high school plans more quickly.
