Bill Summary
Relative to the use of residential energy audits by certain homeowners. Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy.
AI Summary
This bill amends Chapter 25 of the General Laws to require residential energy audits to assign a score, such as the Department of Energy Home Energy Score, to each audited building. After the completion of energy efficiency measures, the score would be adjusted to reflect the change in energy efficiency. Homeowners would have the option to include this energy score in their Multiple Listing Service information at the time of a proposed sale.
