Obama, recognizing his birth and upbringing in Hawaii and his significant achievements as the 44th U.S. President, including economic improvements and the passage of the Affordable Care Act. The resolution also asks the Governor to report on the plan's progress to the Legislature and requests the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts to commission a statue of President Obama for state or federal property.
