AI Summary

This bill amends the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act to establish the Community College to Career Fund, which provides competitive grants to eligible entities (such as community colleges, public 4-year institutions, and tribal colleges) that partner with employers or industry partnerships. The grants are used to develop, offer, and improve educational or career training programs that lead to recognized postsecondary credentials and meet the needs of employers in in-demand industry sectors. The bill sets forth criteria for awarding the grants, including a priority for entities that include partnerships where employers pay a portion of the costs or agree to hire individuals who complete the program.
