This bill aims to further regulate the use of voter information. It amends existing law by striking out provisions that required voter lists to be printed and made available for public distribution, and instead states that the names and addresses contained in these voting lists shall not be a matter of public record. However, the lists will still be made available free of charge to certain entities, such as state party committees, statewide candidate committees, state ballot question committees, the jury commissioner, and the adjutant general, as well as any other individual, agency, or entity designated by the state secretary through regulation.
