AI Summary
This bill authorizes the municipalities of Natick and Framingham to offer sponsorship agreements and receive revenues from the sponsorship of bridges crossing state highways along the Cochituate Rail Trail. The revenues must be used for open space and park purposes, with Natick required to first use the revenues towards outstanding debt for the acquisition of land for the Cochituate Rail Trail. The revenues from sponsorships of a bridge across Route 9 will go exclusively to Natick, while the revenues from a bridge across Route 30 will be evenly divided between Natick and Framingham. The size, form, and material of any signage installed within the state layout are subject to the approval and regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
