This bill aims to expand Medicaid coverage to provide supportive housing services for chronically homeless individuals in Massachusetts. The Executive Office of Health and Human Services, in collaboration with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), will plan for the expansion of these services, considering eligibility criteria, the types of supportive services to be covered, financing and reinvestment strategies, and the administration of the benefit, including the roles of managed care and service providers.
