This bill, the Endangered Fish Recovery Programs Extension Act, aims to maintain annual base funding for the Upper Colorado and San Juan fish recovery programs through fiscal year 2023. It removes certain reporting requirements and adds a new requirement for the Secretary to submit a report to Congress by September 30, 2021, describing the accomplishments of the recovery programs, the listing status of certain endangered fish species, the expenditures and projected expenditures of the programs, and any planned activities after September 30, 2023. The bill authorizes $10 million in annual appropriations for the recovery programs from fiscal years 2020 through 2023, which are considered non-reimbursable federal expenditures.
