This bill proposes to require Medicaid recipients in Wyoming to comply with certain work or volunteer requirements as a condition of continued eligibility, with some exceptions. The bill also prohibits the state from applying for waivers or making plan amendments related to work requirements for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The bill requires the Department of Health to apply for a federal waiver to implement the Medicaid work requirements and authorizes using any federal savings to support child care programs for Medicaid recipients who are employed, in school, or participating in an employment/training program. The bill also requires the Department to promulgate rules to implement these provisions.
