This bill creates a Retirement Income Security Task Force to study the preparedness of Wyoming residents for retirement, evaluate options for private sector employees without access to retirement savings programs, and assess the financial impact on the state's social safety net programs if the state fails to improve citizen access to retirement savings opportunities. The task force will submit a report with its findings and recommendations to the Joint Labor, Health, and Social Services Interim Committee by December 1, 2018. The bill also appropriates funds to cover the expenses of the task force.
