This bill prohibits a person who is providing medical treatment to a patient from misrepresenting that sexual contact or sexual penetration is necessary or beneficial for the patient's health in order to induce the patient to engage in such acts. The bill establishes felony penalties of up to 20 years in prison for sexual contact and up to 25 years in prison for sexual penetration under these circumstances. The bill also allows for consecutive sentencing if the person is convicted of other crimes related to the same incident and provides definitions for key terms like "medical treatment," "patient," "sexual contact," and "sexual penetration."
