This Joint Resolution officially designates October of each year as "Eczema Awareness Month" in New Jersey to raise public understanding of eczema, a group of skin conditions causing redness, itching, and inflammation that affects millions of Americans, including over 13% of New Jersey residents, and to encourage support for those living with this chronic condition for which there is no cure, by requesting the Governor to issue an annual proclamation and asking for the resolution to be sent to the National Eczema Association.
