This bill grants certain retirement benefits to fire fighter Scott Holt. Specifically, it increases Holt's accidental disability retirement allowance to the regular rate of compensation he would have received had he continued serving as a fire fighter in Littleton, Massachusetts. This increased allowance will be in effect until Holt turns 65 years old in 2033, at which point it will revert to the standard amount. Additionally, the bill requires the Town of Littleton to reimburse Holt for his out-of-pocket medical and drug costs up to a maximum annual amount, which will be adjusted for any applicable increases to the town's health insurance plans. Before implementing these changes, the Middlesex retirement board must request a medical panel examination of Holt.
