AI Summary
This bill updates a section of the Michigan Liquor Control Code of 1998 to reference the correct section of the code. Specifically, it amends Section 517a of the code, which allows the Michigan Liquor Control Commission to issue temporary liquor licenses for national sporting events. The bill does not make any substantive changes to the provisions for these licenses, but rather updates the reference to the correct section of the code, Section 111. The bill also includes a tie-bar provision, meaning it will only take effect if a related bill, Senate Bill 1166, is also enacted into law. The bill was approved by the Governor and became effective on December 19, 2018.
