Allows authorized entities, including recreation camps, elementary schools, secondary schools, and institutions of higher education, to possess and administer epinephrine for the treatment of anaphylaxis. II. Removes the specific reference in current statutes to administration via auto-injectors. III. Changes references from "physician" to "health care provider" and clarifies that epinephrine prescribed for an individual at a school or camp may also be used to treat another individual experiencing an anaphylactic emergency. IV. Directs school districts that employ or contract with a school nurse to maintain a supply of epinephrine and establishes an epinephrine fund to provide financial support for the procurement and distribution of epinephrine to schools. V. Clarifies authority of optometrists to administer epinephrine by injection or other methods. Crossed Over
