This bill amends the Alcoholic Beverage Code to allow the holder of a mixed beverage permit to deliver alcoholic beverages from the permitted premises to an ultimate consumer located off-premises, as long as certain conditions are met. These conditions include the permit holder having a food and beverage certificate, the delivery being part of a food delivery, the alcoholic beverage being sealed in a single-serving container, and the delivery not being made to a premises with an alcohol permit or a location where alcohol possession or consumption is prohibited. The bill also sets requirements for the delivery person and recipient, such as being 21 years of age or older and following verification procedures. The bill takes effect on September 1, 2019.
