This bill amends the powers and duties of the town administrator in the town of Fairhaven. It gives the town administrator sole authority over the administration of personnel policies for all town employees, except for the school department and the public works department. The bill also requires the town administrator to submit an annual budget proposal to the board of selectmen and gives the town administrator the authority to manage and oversee the use, maintenance, and security of town buildings and properties, except for those under the jurisdiction of the school department or the public works department. Additionally, the bill repeals a previous act related to the board of public works in Fairhaven.
