AI Summary
This bill amends the powers and duties of the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission to provide an exception to the Commission's authority to regulate hunting seasons. Specifically, the bill establishes the dates for the deer gun hunting season on private lands, which shall be the Saturday prior to the fourth Thursday in November and run for 23 consecutive days. The bill also creates a new special use permit for landowners with at least 300 acres to host nonprofit events, which would allow residents and nonresidents to hunt and fish on the landowner's property for up to 3 consecutive days without requiring additional hunting or fishing licenses. The bill provides an effective date of November 1, 2019.
