This bill expands upon current law to provide free admission to State parks and forests, as well as free hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, for certain individuals with military service. Specifically, the bill extends these benefits to members of the organized reserve of the Armed Forces located in New Jersey, active duty members of the Armed Forces who are residents or based in the State, and retired members of the New Jersey National Guard, in addition to disabled veterans and active members of the New Jersey National Guard who have completed initial military training. The bill also clarifies that these benefits apply to both residents and non-residents who meet the established criteria for active or former military status.
