AI Summary

This bill, the Drug-Free Communities Pandemic Relief Act, provides the Administrator of the Drug-Free Communities Support Program the authority to waive the federal fund limitation for the program. Specifically, if the Administrator determines that an eligible coalition is unable to raise the required non-federal funds due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the Administrator may provide the coalition with a grant or renewal grant that exceeds the typical non-federal fund requirements, up to 125% or 150% depending on the type of grant. This is intended to provide relief to these coalitions that have been impacted by the pandemic and may be unable to meet the usual funding requirements.
