This bill extends Medicaid eligibility for certain women in Texas for up to 12 months after the end of their pregnancy. It requires the state's Health and Human Services Commission to continue providing medical assistance to women who were eligible for Medicaid during their pregnancy, for at least 12 months following the last month of their pregnancy. The bill also allows state agencies to delay implementation of any provisions that require a federal waiver or authorization until such approval is granted.
