This bill grants additional liquor licenses for the sale of wines and malt beverages to be consumed on the premises in the town of Concord, Massachusetts. Specifically, it allows the licensing authority to issue four additional licenses: one to Emerson Umbrella Inc., one to Saltbox Farm Concord, one to Verrill Farm LLC, and one to 51 Walden Inc. The licenses are subject to approval by the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission and must be exercised in the dining rooms or other public areas deemed appropriate by the licensing authority. The licenses cannot be transferred to other locations, but the licensing authority can grant them to new applicants at the same locations if the applicants are in good standing with the Department of Revenue and the Department of Unemployment Assistance. The act will take effect upon passage.
