This bill requires Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) to reimburse durable medical equipment (DME) and complex rehabilitation technology (CRT) providers at no less than 100% of the state's Medicaid DME and CRT fee schedule for the same services and supplies. This is intended to provide parity for DME providers by ensuring they are reimbursed at the same rate as the state's Medicaid fee-for-service program, which is often higher than MCO reimbursement rates. The bill takes effect 90 days after it becomes law, but the amendments made by this bill will be repealed when the underlying law is repealed.
