AN ACT to amend the public officers law, in relation to filing requirements for the annual statement of financial disclosure

This bill amends the Public Officers Law to require the annual financial disclosure statement to be filed by all statewide elected officials, state officers or employees, members of the legislature, legislative employees, political party chairmen, and candidates for statewide elected office or the legislature, regardless of whether they are still in office, employed, or serving in any such capacity on the filing deadline of May 15th following the year for which the disclosure is required.
