This bill authorizes the town of Millbury to grant an additional liquor license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages not to be drunk on the premises to Goretti Supermarkets, Inc. at 1 Providence Street. The license is subject to all applicable laws, except the provision limiting the total number of licenses. The licensing authority cannot approve the transfer of the license to a different location, but can grant the license to a new applicant at the same location if the applicant is in good standing with the relevant state departments. If the license is terminated or no longer used, it must be returned to the licensing authority, which can then grant it to a new applicant at the same location. The license must be issued within one year of the effective date of the act.
