This bill, titled the "Wind Energy Relief Act," aims to provide compensation and assistance to citizens, businesses, and municipalities adversely affected by the operation of wind turbines in Massachusetts. It establishes two new funds - the Wind Energy Relief Fund and the Wind Turbine Decommissioning Fund - to be funded through transfers from the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust Fund.
