AI Summary

This bill authorizes the town of Wellesley to grant certain licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages, including licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises for restaurants and function rooms with any seating capacity, subject to the maximum number of such licenses allowed by state law. The bill also allows the town to grant up to 6 additional licenses for the sale of wines and malt beverages to be drunk on the premises for restaurants and function rooms with any seating capacity. These new licensing authorities are in addition to those already granted to the town under a previous act. The bill also repeals a previous act that authorized certain alcoholic beverage licenses for the town, but provides that any valid licenses granted under that act shall be deemed to have been granted under this new bill.
