This bill appropriates $25 million from the bond proceeds fund to the Public Facilities Authority for water and sewer infrastructure projects in the cities of New Auburn and Silver Lake. Of this, $10 million is for New Auburn to construct a new water treatment facility, upgrade the wastewater treatment system, and improve the storm water collection system. The remaining $15 million is for Silver Lake to undertake similar water and wastewater infrastructure improvements, including replacing an old water tower. The bill also authorizes the Commissioner of Management and Budget to sell and issue state bonds to provide the $25 million in funding.
