This bill establishes a "Vaccine Recipient Bill of Rights" in Minnesota. It gives individuals the right to determine what is in their own best medical interest regarding vaccines, requires healthcare providers to disclose the specific vaccine being administered and provide independent information about it, allows individuals over 65 and dependent on others to consult with a knowledgeable advocate, prohibits requiring or coercing individuals to obtain experimental or investigational vaccines, prohibits employers from asking healthcare providers to promote COVID-19 vaccines, requires healthcare providers to educate themselves and vaccine recipients about the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System, and prohibits private businesses from requiring or coercing individuals to obtain vaccines, unless authorized by other laws.
