This bill, the Aviation-Impacted Communities Act, aims to provide funding and support for noise mitigation in communities located near commercial or cargo jet routes that are 3,000 feet or less above ground level, even if they are outside the 65 DNL (Day-Night Average Sound Level) standard as measured by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
